Beth joined the (then) Ridgewood Concert Band’s clarinet section in January 2011 as a way to meet people after moving to New Jersey from Virginia. She joined the board later that same year to help provide support to publicity efforts. She has been involved in that capacity since, supporting promotional initiatives and managing the NJWS social media accounts. In “real life”, Beth serves as a Marketing Coordinator for Brown and Caldwell, an environmental engineering consulting firm. She lives in Oakland, not far from the guest house where Aaron Copland penned “Fanfare for the Common Man” (the draft score for which she is pictured with during a trip to the Library of Congress)!
